We Can Do It! Women, Gender, and Feminism in Archaeology Friends of Archaeology Lecture Series

Dr. Kelley Hays-Gilpin, associate professor at Northern Arizona University, will speak about the modern experience of women in archaeology and the development of gender-informed research in the discipline. "We Can Do It! Women, Gender, and Feminism in Archaeology" is the final installment of the lecture series Archaeology and Women in the Southwest. Sponsored by the Friends of Archaeology and the state Office of Archaeological Studies, the events are held at 6 pm on successive Fridays at the New Mexico History Museum Auditorium. Cost for Friends of Archaeology members is $13 per lecture, $55 series; nonmembers: $16 per lecture, $65 series; students with ID: $10 per lecture.
