In the Conversations with Collections series, you are invited to go behind the scenes of the New Mexico Museum of Art to see what it takes to care for a wide-ranging collection. You will learn how to apply museum techniques and practices to care for your own heirlooms and belongings. We will also explore in-depth the Museum’s holdings of specific artists.
Religious Imagery: The Museum of Art invites visitors to view a range of historic pieces in the collecion that complement the works on display from the British Museum exhibition, The birth, death and resurrection of Christ: from Michelangelo to Tiepolo.
Free with museum admission.
Pre-registration is encouraged to reserve your spot. Please email Erica Prater at erica.prater@state.nm.us.
