Inspired By Nature: Sifting Through Sand and Time Sand Art with Succulents

date_range November 20, 2019
location_on
schedule 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science for this hands on project on November 20, 2019.

The landscape of New Mexico truly creates our land of enchantment.  From the mountains to the lava flows, the geologic landscape is breath taking.  Come learn from Dr. Larry Crumpler

on how to read the tales hidden the layers of sediment and discover how our landscape has inspired artists such as Georgia O’Keeffe.

Then, create your own work of art with Moonlight Makes as we create sand art with succulents.

21+ only (bring your I.D.) Tickets $40. All tickets include a voucher for one free drink and additional drinks can be purchased at the cash bar.

A portion of every ticket sale will go to help support the Volcano exhibit upgrade project.

Space is limited.
