Join us this summer for a new program called Art Explored! Story Time at the New Mexico Museum of Art Library. Every Tuesday at 11 AM in June and July, children and their caregivers are invited to take a break in the cool recesses of the Museum Library to listen to a volunteer read from the library’s collection of books for children.
These titles include works on famous artists, art movements, and creative techniques. Story Time selections will introduce young children to art history, the practice of thinking about and looking at art, and the significant role art plays in New Mexican culture.
