Encore lecture: Fred Harvey, the Hotel Castañeda, and the Future of the Past in Railroad New Mexico

Did you miss Stephen Fried’s standing-room-only Brainpower & Brownbags Lecture on Oct. 29? He’s agreed to give a repeat of it at noon on Friday, Nov. 7, in the History Museum Auditorium. (Note: Seating is limited.) Author of the best-selling biography, Appetite for America, Fried speaks on “Fred Harvey, the Hotel Castañeda, and the Future of the Past in Railroad New Mexico.” Fried is an expert on the legacy of Fred Harvey and his many Harvey Houses, including the soon-to-be-renovated Hotel Castañeda in Las Vegas, NM.
