About the National Hispanic Cultural Center: http://www.nhccnm.org/

The National Hispanic Cultural Center in Albuquerque is a division of the Department of Cultural Affairs, under the leadership of the Board of Directors of the National Hispanic Cultural Center. Programs and exhibits are generously supported by the the National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization , through the generous support of donors.

Opening in 2000, the National Hispanic Cultural Center is dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and advancement of Hispanic culture, arts, and humanities. The NHCC’s 20-acre campus along the Rio Grande include the largest concave fresco in North America, and two restaurants. NHCC presents more than 700 events and creates the opportunity for thousands more through its art museum, library, genealogy center, three theaters, Spanish-language resource center, and educational resources. Events, exhibitions and programs are presented in the areas of music, theatre, dance, visual arts, culinary arts, film, history, literary arts and cultural-significant customs, featuring local, national and international artists, scholars and entertainers.

In addition to its own events, the NHCC also hosts hundreds of rental events each year – in its theatres, ballrooms and outside plaza.
