Foundation Gift Shops present a book signing and talk with noted author Toni Sikes, in conjunction with A Chair for all Reasons. Ms.Sikes is founder of The Guild, Inc. and The Artful Home, and has written over a dozen books on art and design.
At 6:00pm, Nicolasa Chavez, Curator of Spanish Colonial and Contemporary Hispano/Latino Collections gives a gallery talk in Trasteros and Trunks.
The public is welcome to the opening reception for the exhibition, A Chair for all Reasons. Also enjoy the genius of Alexander Girard's designs, and celebrate the Girard 25th Anniversary Year at the museum.
