There’s just one weekend left to dig up all there is to explore at “Dogs, A Science Tail” before the exhibition leaves New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science (NMMNHS). Luckily, there’s plenty of fun to sniff out before the exhibit closes its doors.

What: The last weekend of “Dogs! A Science Tail.” In addition to normal sights and sounds from the 9,000-square-foot interactive exhibition, the Museum has put together a few special treats for the final weekend, including Family Day activities, a K9 Connections talk featuring Animal Humane New Mexico, and one final adoption event in partnership with Watermelon Mountain Ranch Animal Services. While you’re there, catch “Super Power Dogs” at the Verus Research DynaTheater.

When: It all kicks off on Saturday, April 30! The Family Day runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the adoption event running from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the same day. Then, catch our K9 Connections talk at 1 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at www.nmnaturalhistory.org.

The exhibition will close on Sunday, May 1 at 5 p.m.

Where: Catch the Family Day events and the K9 Companions talk at NMMNHS (1801 Mountain Rd. NW). The adoption event will be held across 18th Street from the main Museum next to our Learning Garden.

Why: Because you won’t want to miss one final chance to learn about how dogs see, hear, and smell the world!
