In 2020, with a large amount of the world’s population quarantined to their homes, an unexpected ancient tradition found its way into pop culture. It seems like everyone with a kitchen was learning the art of making sourdough bread. Join Ranger Rebecca as she explores the multicultural history of sourdough and traces its long journey to New Mexico during the colonial period. Not only will Rebecca share the heritage of this tasty treat, but she will walk us through step-by-step instructions on how to make a starter and a fresh loaf of bread.
A recipe and list of needed ingredients will be provided with the video if you want to follow along.
