This event has been postponed to an as yet undecided date in order to prioritize the safety of both visitors and staff in compliance with COVID-19 guidelines. When a new date has been chosen, the event will be updated accordingly. Thank you for your interest and support.

In the Conversation with Collections series, you are invited to go behind the scenes of the New Mexico Museum of Art to see what it takes to care for a wide-ranging collection. You will learn how to apply museum techniques and practices to care for your own heirlooms and belongings. We will also explore in-depth the Museum’s holdings of specific artists.

Native American Collection: Meet up with Curator of 20th Century Art, Christian Waguespack, and the Collections staff for an exclusive viewing of a selection of the Museum of Art’s collection of artworks by Native American artists from Maria Martinez to T.C. Cannon.

Free with admission.

Pre-registration is encouraged to reserve your spot. Please email Erica Prater at erica.prater@state.nm.us
