This legendary cattle trail was blazed by Charles Goodnight and Oliver Loving in 1866. It ran from north-central Texas to southeastern New Mexico, then up the Pecos River to Fort Sumner, and north to Colorado and Wyoming. David Noble will discuss Goodnight and Loving and tell about the challenges they met as they drove their herds to market.
