Clay Science at the Museum
Explore the Science while you create with clay! Every Monday! We’re creating again at the Museum – 3 Fall Sessions of Clay Science at the Museum are available for registration at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/producer/17643
•Session I – Geology of Clay shows why clay acts the way it does, exploring minerals and muds.
•Session II – Animals Stories focuses on tiles and vessels for telling stories of animals in our lives.
•Session III – Color in Clay offers lessons on color and explorations of ways to show color on clay.
The “science” continues in every class … role of clay in soil, understanding chemical structure, how deposits vary around the planet, especially in New Mexico. Exploration of Museum rounds out these series classes.
