Alcoves 16/17 #1 Free public opening

The much anticipated return of the Alcove Shows is here. There is always something new and expected in this recurring series of exhibitions focused on art being made in New Mexico right now. The first of seven exhibitions Alcoves 16/17 #1 and will feature Scott Anderson, Gloria Graham, Scott Greene, Herbert Lotz, and Bonnie Lynch.  Every seven weeks the Museum of Art will host a new exhibition featuring  five artists working in New Mexico.  When the cycle of exhibitions is completed in March of 2017, these artist centered showcases will have featured the work of thirty-five New Mexico artists working in all media and at all stages in their career.
