As part of the museum’s Adobe Summer celebration, bring the family to this free art-making activity. Make sand casts of your hands for a keepsake. A free family activitY. Note: You’ll need to give the casts 45 minutes to dry before taking them. (A good time to see our great exhibits!)

Adobe Summer is part of the Summer of Color and is designed to focus attention on a marvel of adobe architecture: The Palace of the Governors. A 400-year-old National Treasure, its longevity will continue only with the support of our many friends and faithful preservationists.
