Roswell ceramicist Eddie Dominguez will be talking about his work now showing in Colors of the Southwest. Domínguez began his career as a tin worker within the New Mexican tradition, and has since worked with such materials as glass, wood, found objects, and photographic media. Now well known for his unorthodox use of ceramics, the artist is fascinated with the home and its furnishings. He creates sculptures with a practical function that treads the boundaries between fine art, craft, and kitsch.
