Renaissance to Goya: Prints and Drawings from Spain Public Opening

Renaissance to Goya: Prints and Drawings from Spain is literally rewriting the book on Spanish art. The New Mexico Museum of Art is the only American venue in this international tour. After the British Museum in London, the Prado in Madrid and the Art Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia the exhibition opens December 14, 2013 in Santa Fe and runs through March 9, 2014.

For the opening of this show, we will have a special guitar serenade.  Enjoy the sound of Spanish classical guitar, as local musicians Yves C. Lucero, Petra Babankova, Chris Candelario and Mike Tate y Tafoya play throughout the museum. 12-5pm.  Free.
