Enjoy a conversation with film professionals Jonathan Richards, David Sontag and Eric Witt as they explore the surprisingly deep history of film making in New Mexico, from territorial times to the present. The guest panel will be moderated by John Andrews of the Shakespeare Guild and the NM Humanities Council.
Jonathan Richards is a cartoonist appearing regularly in The Huffington Post, a novelist and actor, and whose movie reviews appear weekly in Pasatiempo. David Sontag is an award-winning writer and producer who has held creative and executive positions at ABC, CBS Films, and NBC, as well as founding the Native Americas International Film Exposition. Eric Witt's extenstive experience in entertainment finance guided the energetic media initiatives that helped attract Brokeback Mountain, 3:20 to Yuma, Crazy Heart and other projects to film in the Land of Enchantment. $15 at the door or in advance at the Lensic box office 505-988-1234.
