The Annual Native American Artisans Program's Indian Market Celebration in the Courtyard takes place on Santa Fe's Indian Market Weekend on August 23 and 24, 2008.
During this weekend the Palace of the Governors signature Native American Artisans Program moves inside the Palace's historic courtyard for the world-famous Southwest Indian Arts Festival weekend in downtown Santa Fe.
The event features over 65 artisans from New Mexico's 23 tribes and Pueblos exclusively. The New Mexico Native artisans will exhibit and sell their traditional arts and crafts items inside the beautifully landscaped, tree-shaded, enclosed Palace of the Governors garden in downtown Santa Fe on the Plaza.
Additional programming will include traditional Indian dances, music, performances, art demonstrations, raffles and a Native specialties food booth.
