Climate Change in New Mexico an Arbor Day Lecture

Atherton Phleger of the South Central Climate Science Center visits MIAC to discuss climate change in our state, including climate vulnerability assessment and adaptation planning. His main role with SCCSC is to provide technical assistance and scientific data to Southwest tribes. Atherton says that while “Climate change can be systemic, abstract, and often frightening…there are many reasons to be hopeful about the future of New Mexico.”
