Commemorate your family, your culture and the special people in your life. All people gather to share meals, celebrate journeys, challenges, transitions and hope. This relaxed, heartfelt workshop begins with a quick tour of the exhibition, Local Color: Judy Chicago in New Mexico 1984-2014, looking at Judy Chicago’s symbolic and storytelling Seder plates. Participants will leave with a special usable mat for their dinner table.
Space is limited for the three Art Making Workshops. Pre-registration will save you a place. Email your names, phone number, and workshop name to NMMOAworkshops2014@gmail.com or stop by the reception desk in the museum lobby.
Drop-ins always welcome when space is available.
Materials provided. Bring an old shirt to provide some cover.
Workshops are included in the price of museum admission. Youth 16 and younger free.
