The museum has invited guests speakers to lead tours, emphasizing their unique points of view.  Lively conversation most welcome.

July 1    Ligia Bouton.    Assistant Professor of Interdisciplinary Foundations at the University of New Mexico.  Her creative work combines sculpture with performance, digital video, and photography to recreate appropriated narratives.

July 8   Mary Tsiongas.   Associate Professor in Electronic Media at the University of New Mexico.   Mary is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work addresses human relationships to technology and the natural environment.

July 15    John Torres-Nez and Joseph Traugott.  John is Chief Operating Officer of the Southwestern Association of Indian Arts, and Joseph is Curator of 20th Century Art at the New Mexico Museum of Art.

July 22   Joyce Begay-Foss.   Director of Education, Museum of Indian Art and Culture.

July 29   Mary Kershaw.   Director of the New Mexico Museum of Art.
