The four state museums in Santa Fe will be open from 10am-5pm on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 5, after which they will move to their winter hours, 10 am to 5 pm, Tuesday-Sunday.
The switch to winter hours also marks the end of free 5-8 pm Fridays on Museum Hill for the Museum of International Folk Art and the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture. Free Friday evenings remain year-round for the New Mexico History Museum and the New Mexico Museum of Art.
