Title: Braille Interactive Exhibit

Description: In this interactive exhibit, visitors try to read by touching, or using Braille. The brain has plasticity, and can change to make up for loss or adapt to a person’s needs. For example, blind Braille readers use parts of the visual cortex, a sensory area usually reserved for sight, and read the words by “seeing” them.
