Join us for a presentation with Alexandra Lange on Alexander Girard’s work in the context of other midcentury designers who created toys and play spaces.

Alexandra Lange is a design critic and author of “Meet Me by the Fountain: An Inside History of the Mall” (Bloomsbury, 2022). She has written extensively on postwar design, particularly for children. She has been the architecture critic for Curbed, and her work has appeared in the Atlantic, New York Magazine, the New York Times and the New Yorker.
