Estella Loretto – Peaceful Gratitude

Join us for a delightful afternoon touring the home/studio of noted Jemez Pueblo artist Estella Loretto, currently the only Native American woman sculpting in monumental bronze. Her genuine spiritual nature defines her commitment to integrity and authenticity in her art and life. Estella studied and trained with mentors from around the world as well as here at home with her mother, grandmother, and most notably, Allen HouserHaozous. Allen was influential in the early stages of her career and they remained close friends until the time of his death in 1994.
