Celebrate World Archaeology Day at the Center for New Mexico Archaeology
- See the Miracle of Maize exhibit
- Watch the film “She Brings Life: Maize, a Sacred Sustenance”
- Tour the Southwest’s largest archaeology repository
- Participate in maize-related activities
- Throw an atlatl, build a corn husk doll, and paint your own corn pendant
- Talk with your State archaeologists and see them at work!
All activities at the Center for New Mexico Archaeology, which is located at 7 Old Cochiti Road, Off Caja del Rio Road and 599 Bypass in Santa Fe.
