Arts Alive! On Museum Hill, off Old Santa Fe Trail, Santa Fe, NM

date_range June 17, 2008
location_on 708-710 Camino Lejo
Santa Fe, NM 87557 United States
schedule 10:00 am - 1:00 am

Three jewels of the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs, the Museum of International Folk Art, the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture, and the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art, are collaborating to present the sixth annual Arts Alive! on Milner Plaza this summer. Programs offer creative fun for everyone, from comic art and Native couture jewelry, to pop-up thrones and flying puppets, to tinwork and reverse glass painting, and much more!

This year, for the first time, all of the programs and events will begin at 10:00 a.m. and run until 1:00 p.m., an important change that is being made due to past issues with heat and rain.   All programs at all three museum locations are free and outdoors, and are open to participants of all ages. Hands-on participation is encouraged at these popular programs, so arrive early and come dressed to have fun!

Click on More Information, below, for complete event schedule.

Groups of six or more please call to reserve a place and guarantee free admission to the museum.
