On display at the Governor’s Gallery, located on the fourth floor of the New Mexico State Capitol, is History Where It Happened – New Mexico Historic Sites.
New Mexico’s Historic Sites tell the story of our state. The exhibit displays eight unique stories from areas where the past becomes real; must-see stops for visitors to learn about New Mexico’s diverse, rich, and vibrant history. New Mexico Historic Sites offers guests a deeper understanding of groups and individuals who shaped our state and culture into what it is today.
