Public Opening:

1pm and 3pm –  Dance performance by the Zuni Olla Maidens

1pm-4pm – Hands-on activities for all ages conducted by the museum’s Education Department.

2pm – Panel discussion by Cheryl Ingram(Silver Sun Gallery, Santa Fe), Joe Dan Lowry (The Turquoise Museum, Albuquerque), Douglas Magnus (silversmith and owner of the Tiffany Mine), Mark Bahti (Bahti Indian Arts, Santa Fe/Tucson), and Cody Sanderson (Navajo silversmith) in the O’Keeffe Theater. Seating Limited

2pm-4pm – Jewelry making demonstration by Ehren Natay (Santo Domingo Pueblo/Navajo) and Ed Natay (Navajo)

2pm-4pm – refreshments hosted by the Women’s Board of the Museum of New Mexico

FREE WITH REGULAR MUSEUM ADMISSION

New Mexico residents with I.D. free on Sundays. Children 16 and under and members are always free.
