The Friends of Indian Art (FIA) invite you to meet Martha Hopkins Struever, a scholar of historic and contemporary Pueblo Indian pottery and Pueblo and Navajo jewelry. A primary focus of her career as an art dealer has been to identify and encourage talented Indian artists. She sponsored the first exhibitions of Gail Bird and Yazzie Johnson, Norbert Peshlako and Perry Shorty, among others.
