Japanese Kite Making Workshops & demonstrations

Masaaki Modegi from the Kite Museum of Japan and a Japanese kite maker Mikio Toki conduct kite making demostrations in the Museum Atrium in Santa Fe.  This program is presented in conjunction with Tako Kichi:  Kite Crazy in Japan, an exhibition of 300 Japanese kites with an interactive kite making station for visitors of all ages to enjoy. The demonstration is included with Museum admission, and is funded by the International Folk Art Foundation and the Japan Foundation.
