Dr. Noel Pugach will perform as Governor Lew Wallace in a chautauqua in the San Juan Mission. Governor Wallace met William Bonney, aka Billy the Kid on the night of March 17, 1879. At that meeting Billy the kid agreed to testify against participants in the Lincoln County war in exchange for a pardon. Call (575) 653-4372 for more information.
