Albuquerque, NM – In collaboration with the National Institute of Flamenco, the National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) is thrilled to present Festival Flamenco Alburquerque 37, featuring six nights of jaw-dropping flamenco performances at the Center!

The annual Festival Flamenco Alburquerque is the largest and oldest flamenco event outside of Spain. The festival offers a unique opportunity to witness world-class performances, learn from renowned artists, and connect with a vibrant community of flamenco students, fans, and aficionados.

Every evening from June 24 through June 27, the Center will play host to a new company show, three of which are U.S premieres. Details on each are below.

June 24- Eduardo Guerrero: Bailar No Es Solo Bailar. The incredible Cádiz-born Eduardo Guerrero brings his work full of visceral, profound expression to U.S stages for the first time.

June 25- Mercedes De Córdoba Y Compañía: Sí, Quiero. Considered one of the most powerful and authentic dancers of her generation, Mercedes de Córdoba along with four beautiful bailaoras (women dancers) celebrate a wedding ceremony.

June 26- Manuel Liñán Y Compañía: Muerta De Amor. The 12 artists on stage thrill and guide us in this tribute to love in all of its forms and its consequences.

June 27- Farruquito Y Compañía: Concierto Flamenco.  The legendary Farruquito and his son Juan “El Moreno” perform in a stunning show that allows each artist on stage to shine in vignettes that honor the closeness of the individuals on stage.

Then, join us for the two-day grand finale: Fiesta Flamenca! These two gala shows bring together dozens of performers for a signature show. Each night features a different cast of performers, visit nhccnm.org/events to learn more.

Tickets start at $55 for company shows, and $65 for Fiesta Flamenca. All NHCC shows will be held in the Albuquerque Journal Theatre in the Roy E. Disney Performing Arts Center. Head to ffabq.org for a full list of performances across Albuquerque.
