Title: Evolving Emotions

Description: Some parts of our brains evolved millions of years ago; others more recently. The display along this wall illustrates some of the many evolutionary pathways leading to the human brain: the California seahare senses touch but lacks central hub for its nervous system, and the green iguana has a brain that is more instinctual and reflexive than do mammals.
