Courage + Compassion: Native Women Sculpting Women Opening Celebration for Groundbreaking Sculpture Show

Join MIAC to honor the legacy of seven leading American Indian women sculptors with an Opening Celebration on Sunday, November 2. The Museum opens at 10am and Guest Curator Letitia Chambers will moderate a panel discussion with the artists at 1pm and again at 3pm. Enjoy shawl dancing at 2pm. Free admission for New Mexico residents on Sundays.

Later, an Artists Reception will follow from 4pm to 6pm at the Museum Hill Cafe – tickets for the reception are $35 per person ($30 for MNMF members) and may be purchased in advance at the MIAC gift shop or call 505-982-5057.
