Native artists from different Southwest tribes, will discuss and demonstrate different techiniques, clays and styles of pottery.
Pam Quintana from Cochiti Pueblo was taught as a child, the historic art and her family’s tradition of making story tellers by her parents Pablo and Margaret Quintana. Pamela hand forms and fires in a kiln. She uses micaceous clay “so that it glitters.”
