DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, September 26\, from 2 to 4 p.m.\, Santa Fe Poet Laureate\, Joan Logghe and musician Jeremy Bleich will present a 40-minute program of international poetry and improvised music for children\, and their adults. After the performance\, children will be invited to write a poem of their own. The program is aimed at children from 6 to 10 years of age. \n Joan Logghe is Santa Fe Poet Laureate for 2010-2011. A graduate of Tufts University\, and long-time New Mexico resident\, she is the recipient of numerous national and international grants. Her teaching experience includes Ghost Ranch at Abiquiu\, Santa Fe Community College\, Santa Fe Girls’ School\, and Santa Clara Pueblo Day School.  \n Jeremy Bleich blends an exciting collection of ancient and modern instruments\, world cultures\, and electronics in his musical performance. DESCRIPTION:Sunday Adventures in Outdoor Painting  \nPart One: Sunday Painting Classes  – Hands on painting instruction en plein air on location in downtown Santa Fe\, with Lee Rommel.  Classes begin at the museum with a viewing of the exhibition at 2:00 and continue from 3:00 to 5:00 on location around downtown Santa Fe. \nEach class is designed to take you through a complete painting experience in one afternoon.
